This dairy and cashew free, Hemp Seed ice cream is chocolaty-guilt-free goodness. Oh, and so delicious and nutritious! This ice cream has a whopping 20 grams of protein.
1 cup coconut cream (We used 2 cans of coconut milk and refrigerated for an hour then separated the cream from the water)
1/2 cup Hemp Seed Milk (or milk of choice). Tip - add an extra 2 tbsp of Planet Hemp Superfood Hemp Hearts to really thicken it up.
3 tbsp raw cacao
2-3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
24 frozen Hemp Milk cubes (use the Hemp Milk made above and freeze for 4 hours)
Cacao nibs if desired
Planet Hemp Superfood Hemp Hearts for garnish
HOW TO MAKE:
Blend all ingredients except Hemp ice cubes in a high speed blender like a Blend Tek or Vitamix until blended thoroughly.
Add the ice cubes 4 at a time and pulse until desired consistency. Dish out and serve. Enjoy!
Note: You may need to freeze it for 1/2 hour to firm up for desired consistency.
